SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lisa M. Garcia of Park Ridge, who passed away on January 14, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Garcia served as a 4th grade Instructional Resource Teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School in Park Ridge for many years; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Garcia was a strong advocate for children and devoted herself to special education; and

WHEREAS, Lisa Garcia was the beloved wife of Mario; the loving mother of Melissa (fiance Michael Joseph); the cherished daughter of Al and Mickey Lolwing; the dearest sister of Linda (Bryan) Curry, Laura (Mike) Stern, and Mark (Cathy) Lolwing; the loving aunt of Nelson, Veronica, Shawn, Tim, Jennifer, Tom, Sam, and Amanda; the fond daughter-in-law of Carmen (the late Rodrigo) Garcia; the dear sister-in-law of Julio (Marcela) Garcia; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Lisa M. Garcia; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lisa Garcia as an expression of our sympathy.
