SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Pauline V. "Sue" Mahoney, who passed away on April 25, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney was born on March 29, 1935; her parents were Dr. Camillo and Virginia Volini; and

WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney and her husband were pillars of their community; she was also a founding member of St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church; and

WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mahoney, Sr.; a brother, Camillo (Dorothy) Volini; and 2 sisters, Virginia Volini and Patricia (James) Mahoney; and

WHEREAS, Pauline Mahoney is survived by a brother, Dr. Dominick (Pat) Volini; 3 sons, Michael, Dr. Edward, Jr. (Sue), and Dominick (Susan); and 6 grandchildren, Cory, Kyra, Nicholas, Ryan, Zachary, and Melissa; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Pauline V. "Sue" Mahoney; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pauline Mahoney as an expression of our sympathy.
