SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Shirley R. Skoien of Inverness, who passed away on February 23, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Shirley Skoien was born on June 10, 1926 in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Shirley Skoien was the beloved wife of the late Willard J. Skoien; the loving mother of Gary Skoien and Dawn (Thomas) Reed; the loving grandmother of Lindsay, Kristi, and Bethany Reed and Lincoln, Winston, and Elizabeth Skoien; and the dear daughter of the late Hilmer and Lorraine (nee Sass) Tess; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Shirley R. Skoien; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Shirley Skoien as an expression of our sympathy.
