SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Isabelle Schuyler-Sue Jones, who passed away on December 11, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was born on August 24, 2004; she was a resident of Oak Park and attended Abraham Lincoln Elementary School; she also attended the Panda Dance Studio, where she was a member of the competitive dance team; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was a member of the Girl Scouts and the 5th grade Service Team and was a Book Buddy to a Lincoln Kindergarten student; she also participated in CAST for 3 years and Girls on the Run; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was awarded the Oak Park Optimist Club Award and was recognized during Youth Appreciation Day on November 18, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Park, where she attended Sunday school and had the lead role of Mary in the church's Christmas program in 2013; she loved animals and one day hoped to work with them; she also enjoyed dancing, singing, and spending time with her family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Jones was the loving daughter of Kevin and Christine Jones and the granddaughter of James and Cindy Jones; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Isabelle Jones, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Isabelle Jones as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
