SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of David C. Dubs of Richmond, who passed away on April 21, 2015; and

WHEREAS, David Dubs was born on June 30, 1954 in Chicago; his parents were Richard and Beulah (nee Solomon) Dubs; and

WHEREAS, David Dubs was a graduate of Wauconda High School and a former member of the Wauconda Fire Department; and

WHEREAS, David Dubs was well known as a superb woodworker; he was a self-employed carpenter, designer, and cabinetmaker for over 32 years, operating Wooden World in Richmond; and

WHEREAS, David Dubs was preceded by his father and a brother, Jeffrey Dubs; and

WHEREAS, David Dubs is survived by a daughter, Nicole (Jacob) Likeric; a son, Ryan (Monica) Dubs; the mother of his children, Linda Dubs; 3 grandchildren, Evan and Carson Dubs and Coraleen Likeric; his mother, Beulah (Russell) Mansfield; 2 sisters, Linda (Rodney) Wertschnig and Donna (Kerry) Brown; and a brother, Daniel Dubs; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of David C. Dubs; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of David Dubs as an expression of our sympathy.
