SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Maureen A. (nee O'Malley) Calo of Aurora, who passed away on December 11, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Maureen Calo was born on November 29, 1958; and

WHEREAS, Maureen Calo loved to cook, entertain, garden, sing karaoke, and spend time at the lake house; she treasured spending time with family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Maureen Calo was the beloved wife of Nick; the proud mother of Amy and Riley; the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Ann O'Malley; the cherished daughter-in-law of Catherine and the late Lawrence Calo; the loving sister of Tom (Maureen) O'Malley, Kathy Peronti, Ann (Nick) Cataldo, Pat (Aileen) O'Malley, Amy O'Malley, and EJ Detiveaux; the dear sister-in-law of Mary Lou (Neel) Malik; the former sister-in-law of Gino Peronti; and the fond aunt of 12 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Maureen A. Calo, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Maureen Calo as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
