SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William "Bill" J. McClintock, who passed away on December 15, 2014; and

WHEREAS, William McClintock was born on May 11, 1955 in Alton; his parents were William E. and Ilse (nee Dahlen) McClintock; he married Cynthia K. Cribbet on July 6, 1974 in Kingsville, Texas; and

WHEREAS, William McClintock served his country as a member of the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, William McClintock was employed as a laborer for the City of Alton Street Department for many years; and

WHEREAS, William McClintock was a member of the American Legion Post 354 in Alton and Teamsters Local 525; and

WHEREAS, William McClintock enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family; and

WHEREAS, William McClintock is preceded in death by his father; a brother, Dennis J. McClintock; and a nephew, Frank Kuter; and

WHEREAS, William McClintock is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his mother; 2 children and their spouses, Elizabeth and Matthew Polak and Christen and Christina McClintock; 4 grandchildren, Blake, Baylea, Stephanie, and Sydnie; a great-granddaughter, Rylie; a sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Mike Sherman; 5 nieces, Marcie Marlow, Jennifer Robbins, Sarah Goodman, Beth Baty, and Natalie Sherman; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sherry and Larry Robbins; and a brother-in-law, Doug Cribbet; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of William "Bill" J. McClintock; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William McClintock as an expression of our sympathy.
