SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Alberta A. Sweetwood of Wildwood, who passed away on December 21, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Alberta Sweetwood was born September 7, 1918 in Monroe, Wisconsin; her parents were Jay and Gladys Eaton; and

WHEREAS, Alberta Sweetwood was a member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church and the Warren Township Senior Center; and

WHEREAS, Alberta Sweetwood enjoyed crafting and doing crossword puzzles; and

WHEREAS, Alberta Sweetwood was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; her son, Gary; and her brother, Wilbur; and

WHEREAS, Alberta Sweetwood is survived by her children, Robert (Geraldine) Sweetwood, Kenneth Sweetwood, and Donna Bullock; her grandchildren, James (Crickett) Sweetwood, Christine Sweetwood, Carleen Sweetwood, and Amanda Bullock; her great-grandchildren, Jace Sweetwood and Kaili Sumonja; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Alberta A. Sweetwood; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alberta Sweetwood as an expression of our sympathy.
