SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Sandra "Sandi" L. Cooper, who passed away on April 20, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper was born on October 25, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida; her parents were Edward and Pauline (nee Dossey) Clapp; she married Dennis Cooper on July 20, 1963 at Cottage Hills Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper and her husband were the owners and operators of Geno's 140 Club in Bethalto; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Sandra Cooper is survived by her husband, Dennis; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Cord and Kelly Cooper and Shane and Stacy Cooper; 5 grandchildren, Meaghan (Chris) Kearbey and Caitlyn, Jordan, Dylan, and Wyatt Cooper; 4 great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Clayton, and Machayla; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Sandra "Sandi" L. Cooper; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Sandra Cooper as an expression of our sympathy.
