SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dan A. Helstrom of Woodstock, who passed away on December 29, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Dan Helstrom was born in Elgin on June 6, 1960 to Robert and Betty Helstrom; and

WHEREAS, Dan Helstrom enjoyed spending time with his pups, Sandy and Maddie, and following the Chicago Cubs and Bears; and

WHEREAS, Dan Helstrom was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and

WHEREAS, Dan Helstrom is survived by his mother, Betty Helstrom; his siblings, Robert (Roxane), Michael (Dan Marsh), Peter (Laura), and Andrew (Belen); his nieces, Abigail and Zoe; and his nephew, Jack; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dan A. Helstrom, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dan Helstrom as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
