SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Elaine B. Tychsen, who passed away on November 29, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Elaine Tychsen was born on July 11, 1927 in Chicago; her parents were Louis and Stella (nee Novak) Buehler; she married Thomas A. Tychsen, Sr. on January 16, 1954 in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Elaine Tychsen taught at North School in Crystal Lake for 23 years; and

WHEREAS, Elaine Tychsen was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma teacher society; she enjoyed gardening, traveling, the Northwoods, and spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Elaine Tychsen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas; and

WHEREAS, Elaine Tychsen is survived by a son, Thomas A. (Beverly) Tychsen, Jr.; 2 grandsons, Ryan (Neenah) and Cole Tychsen; and a great-grandson, Jackson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Elaine B. Tychsen; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Elaine Tychsen as an expression of our sympathy.
