SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary A. (nee Patrick) Doyle-Mikulich of Lockport, who passed away on March 30, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Mary Doyle-Mikulich was born in Pana and lived in the Joliet-Lockport area most of her life; and

WHEREAS, Mary Doyle-Mikulich retired from the Stateville Correctional Center after 18 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Mary Doyle-Mikulich was a member of Lockport Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5788 Ladies Auxiliary, the Joliet Senior Club, the Joann Knights, St. Joseph church, and Lockport CCW; she enjoyed baking and dancing; and

WHEREAS, Mary Doyle-Mikulich was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Lester Pat Doyle; her grandson, Daniel Doyle; her sisters, Elsie (Louis) Srnick and Catherine (Henry) Przybysz; her brothers, John (Ginger), Andrew (Julie), and Raymond (Helen) Patrick; and numerous other family members; and

WHEREAS, Mary Doyle-Mikulich is survived by her sons, William (Lynn) and Lester Pat (Monique) Doyle; her grandchildren, William Doyle, Jr., Courtney (Dan) O'Brien, Holly (Rich) Blakeley, and Monica (Charles) Graff; her great-grandchildren, Tyler Doyle, Erin and Libby O'Brien, and Charles Graff, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mary A. Doyle-Mikulich, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Doyle-Mikulich as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
