SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael Christopher Bruno of Inverness, who passed away on April 3, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Michael Bruno was born in Arlington Heights on September 19, 1976; he earned his Bachelor of Arts at Marquette University and his master's degree at Roosevelt University; and

WHEREAS, Michael Bruno was a beloved teacher and head tennis coach at South Elgin High School; he had a profound impact on the many students whose experience he enriched; and

WHEREAS, Michael Bruno enjoyed golf, tennis, trivia, sports, and spending time with his family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Michael Bruno was the beloved son of Dr. Thomas Bruno and Sharon (nee Kelly) Bruno; the loving brother of Thomas, Jr., Anna (Thomas, Jr.) Bleers, Leah, his twin sister, Caroline, Matthew (Autumn), and the late Maria Bruno; the devoted godfather and uncle of Mia; the adored uncle of Madelyn, Luca, Charley, and Elena Bruno and Roman, Leonardo, and Dominic Bleers; the dear grandson of the late Albert and Antoinette Bruno and Kenneth and Katherine "Kay" Kelly; the loved nephew and cousin of many; and the cherished friend to even more; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Michael Christopher Bruno, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Bruno as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
