SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Virginia "Ginny" Segerson of Glen Ellyn, who passed away at the age of 94; and

WHEREAS, Mary Segerson was formerly of the West Side of Chicago and Lombard; and

WHEREAS, Mary Segerson was a special person who never met someone who did not become a friend; and

WHEREAS, Mary Segerson was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters; and

WHEREAS, Mary Segerson was the beloved wife of the late John P.; the cherished mother of Carroll (Jim McGovern), Michael (Julie Walsh), David (Mary Duffy), and Marilyn Segerson (Dan Lalowski); the loving grandmother of Meghan, Brigid, Kevin, Jack, K.C., Kristin, Kelli, Brianna, Kaela, Chris, and Tim; and the dear great-grandmother of 10; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mary Virginia "Ginny" Segerson, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Segerson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
