SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert W. Reddersdorf of Marengo, who
4passed away on December 7, 2016, at the age of 89; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf was born in Elgin to William
6and Elsa (Miller) Reddersdorf on January 17, 1927; he married
7Barbara E. Bopp in Harvard on October 6, 1956; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf was a U.S. Army veteran and
9served in the Korean War; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf worked for National Tea and
11Jewel Foods as a meat cutter; he retired after 44 years of
12service; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf was preceded in death by his
14parents and his two sisters; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf is survived by his wife,
16Barbara; his four children, Sandy Hauschildt, Cindy (Dick)
17Gorman, Steve (Pat) Reddersdorf, and Jeff (Gwen) Reddersdorf;
18his grandchildren, Greg (Tia), Patrick (Amanda), Erin (Brett),
19Emily (Jeff), Alison, Danny, Michael (Elena), Jimmy, Lindsey
20(Zack), Megan, Brett, Andrea, and Laura; and his

1great-grandchildren, Carter, Chloe, Keira, Quinn, and Noah;
2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert W. Reddersdorf,
6and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and
7all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Robert Reddersdorf as an expression
10of our deepest sympathy.
