SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert W. Reddersdorf of Marengo, who passed away on December 7, 2016, at the age of 89; and

WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf was born in Elgin to William and Elsa (Miller) Reddersdorf on January 17, 1927; he married Barbara E. Bopp in Harvard on October 6, 1956; and

WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War; and

WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf worked for National Tea and Jewel Foods as a meat cutter; he retired after 44 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters; and

WHEREAS, Robert Reddersdorf is survived by his wife, Barbara; his four children, Sandy Hauschildt, Cindy (Dick) Gorman, Steve (Pat) Reddersdorf, and Jeff (Gwen) Reddersdorf; his grandchildren, Greg (Tia), Patrick (Amanda), Erin (Brett), Emily (Jeff), Alison, Danny, Michael (Elena), Jimmy, Lindsey (Zack), Megan, Brett, Andrea, and Laura; and his great-grandchildren, Carter, Chloe, Keira, Quinn, and Noah; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert W. Reddersdorf, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Reddersdorf as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
