SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kevin Michael Lehmann of Carlinville, who passed away on December 12, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Lehmann was born in Springfield to Dale and Elizabeth Ann (Walsh) Lehmann on November 19, 1969; he graduated from Girard High School in 1987 and Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield; he married Destiny Miller in Carlinville on February 7, 2002, they later divorced; and

WHEREAS, After college, Kevin Lehmann was employed by Kinney Construction in Raymond; he also worked as a bartender at 109 West; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Lehmann enjoyed cooking, collecting hats, and taking care of his family; he spent his leisure time riding four-wheelers with his children and enjoying the camaraderie of his friends while riding his Harley; he was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Denver Broncos and "The Walking Dead"; when his boys were growing up he coached Little League Baseball; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Lehmann was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Lehmann is survived by his sons, Kelley Lehmann (Catherine Childers), Jacob Lehmann, Cameron Lehmann, and Colin Lehmann; his daughter, Zoey Lehmann (mother, Courtney Emery); his brother, Mark Lehmann (Nikki Amato); his nieces, Lillian and Vivian Lehmann; and several uncles and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kevin Michael Lehmann, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kevin Lehmann as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
