SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Vincent Hart of Edison Park, who passed away on December 5, 2016, at the age of 83; and

WHEREAS, Vincent Hart was born to Lillian (Howell) and Thomas Hart, and lovingly raised by his aunt and uncle, Catherine and Wee Daly; and

WHEREAS, Vincent Hart served in the United States Army during the Korean War; and

WHEREAS, Vincent Hart retired after 33 years Service to the Chicago Police Department; and

WHEREAS, Vincent Hart was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Bill, Tom, and Jack Hart; and

WHEREAS, Vincent Hart was the beloved husband of 57 years of Mary A. (O'Shea); the loving father of Kathleen (Joseph) McDermott, Eileen Hart (Bill Adamick), Jerry (Peggy) Hart, and Megan (Mike) Ryan; the proud grandfather of Michael, Megan, and Katey McDermott, Emily (Bill) O'Hara, Aidan and Nolan Hart, and Nora (Mike) Draniczarek; the great-grandfather of Evelyn O'Hara; and fond uncle of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Vincent Hart, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Vincent Hart as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
