SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carrie Mae Hilderbrand, who passed away on October 26, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Carrie Hilderbrand was born in Batesville, Mississippi to Willie and Mary Tucker on June 29, 1954; she grew up in Chicago with five brothers and one sister; she graduated from Kennedy King College with a degree in early childhood education; and

WHEREAS, Carrie Hilderbrand was an active member of Apostolic Faith Church; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Carrie Mae Hilderbrand, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carrie Hilderbrand as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
