| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James Howard Schackmann of Springfield, | 4 | | who passed away on October 1, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Schackmann was born in Springfield to James | 6 | | Carl and Lois Newell Schackmann on September 20, 1952; he | 7 | | married Nancy Lynette Matrisch on April 11, 1981; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, James Schackmann retired in 2004 as the Assistant | 9 | | Purchasing Agent for the City of Springfield; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, James Schackmann was a member of Lakeside | 11 | | Christian Church; he volunteered and served on the board of | 12 | | Computer Banc.; he had a passion for American History and | 13 | | enjoyed war gaming; he was a proud Sangamon County Republican; | 14 | | and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, James Schackmann was preceded in death by his | 16 | | wife, Nancy; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, James Schackmann is survived by his daughters, | 18 | | Kathleen Lyons, and Sarah (Vince) Traylor; his sons, Shane | 19 | | (Sara) Schackmann, James (Jamie) Schackmann, and Seth (Sarah) | 20 | | Schackmann; his brother, Brian (Mary) Schackmann; his sister, |
