SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Arlene Feiger, who passed away on November 12, 2016, at the age of 81; and

WHEREAS, Arlene Feiger was the beloved wife of Harry Feiger for over 59 years; and

WHEREAS, Arlene Feiger was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and best friends, who will miss her dearly; and

WHEREAS, Arlene Feiger was the devoted daughter of, and preceded in death by, the late Nathan and Ida (Kalis) Siskel, and the late Joseph and Mae (Kalis) Gray; and

WHEREAS, Arlene Feiger was the adored mother of Gail (Andrew) Feiger Brown, Jonathan Feiger (Nancy Laben), and Robert Feiger (Alyson Miller); the cherished grandmother of Joey, Eliza, and Madeline Brown, Leah and Jayce Feiger, and Sarah and Lily Feiger; the devoted sister of William (Judy) Siskel, the late Eugene Marlene (Iglitzen) Siskel, Avrum (the late Joyce) Gray, Elaine (the late Herbert) Loseff, and the late Sheldon Gray; and sister-in-law of Sig (the late Miriam) Feiger, Rose Grossinger, and the late Alfred (Carole) Feiger; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Arlene Feiger, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Arlene Feiger as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
