SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Leroy Delano Freeman of Waukegan, who passed away on October 21, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Leroy Freeman was born in Muscle Shoals, Alabama on July 13, 1939; after graduating, he moved to Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Leroy Freeman worked for Goodyear and Abbott Laboratories; and

WHEREAS, Leroy Freeman is survived by his sons, Stacey (Dionne) Freeman, Terryl (Kimberley) Freeman, and Keithron (Holly) Freeman; his grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsey, Terryl Jr., Trent, Tierra, Keaira, and Christian; his sister, Myrtle (Oscar) Fields; his brother, Bennie Brent; his special friends, Little X Vorns and Betty Ingram; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Leroy Delano Freeman, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Leroy Freeman as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
