SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wanda M. Stille of Edwardsville, who passed away on September 27, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Wanda Stille was born on August 11, 1932 in Steele, Missouri; her parents were Mitchell Edward and Alline Johnston; she married Robert C. Stille on May 31, 1952 in Pocahontas, Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, Wanda Stille owned a small business where she made custom draperies; and

WHEREAS, Wanda Stille loved playing cards and was part of the same card club for over 60 years; and

WHEREAS, Wanda Stille was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; and her children, Susie Stille and Bob Stille; and

WHEREAS, Wanda Stille is survived by her daughter, Marcie (Steve) McCormick; her son, Michael (Sheri) Stille; her grandchildren, Shelby and Jayme McCormick and Mitchell, Ryan, and Clayton Stille; her great-grandchildren; and her sister, Phyllis Sample; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Wanda M. Stille; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wanda Stille as an expression of our sympathy.
