SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Delmore Harris of North Chicago, who passed away on August 4, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Delmore Harris was born on November 4, 1952 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi; and

WHEREAS, Delmore Harris worked for R. Lavin & Sons and most recently at the North Chicago Public Works; and

WHEREAS, Delmore Harris is survived by his wife, Mildred Williams-Harris; his daughters, Iris (Marcel) Wallace and Valerie and Latoya Harris; eight grandchildren; six sisters; one sister-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Delmore Harris; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Delmore Harris as an expression of our sympathy.
