SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Loretta B. Zaker, who passed away on July
41, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker was born on October 26, 1927 in
6North Chicago; her parents were John and Frances Koncan; she
7married Vince Zaker on April 24, 1948; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker worked at many different jobs during
9her lifetime before retiring from the City of North Chicago
10after many years of service; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker was preceded in death by her
12husband, Vince; her parents; her daughter, Debra (Scott)
13Sleddens; her brother, John (Julia), Bill, and Leo Koncan; and
14her sisters, Sylvia (John) Zaugra and Phyllis (Joe) Foltz; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Loretta Zaker is survived by her daughters,
16Loretta (the late Chuck) Gesky, Bonnie (Dave) Brogan, and
17Roberta (Steve) McKay; her grandchildren, Phyllis Fortson,
18Sara Ames, C.J. Gesky, John Brogan, Meredith Schueneman, Kyle,
19April, and Jillian McKay, and Alex and Vincent Sleddens; 11
20great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her brother, Tom
21(Lois) Koncan; and her sisters-in-law, Bea Koncan and Loraine

1Koncan; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Loretta B. Zaker; and
5be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Loretta Zaker as an expression of
8our sympathy.
