SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lillian E. Trygar of Beach Park, who passed away on July 4, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar was born in Waukegan to John and Helen Lindquist on July 2, 1928 and lived in Waukegan until moving to Beach Park; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar retired from Abbott Labs; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar was a Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at Immaculate Conception Church, AARP, and the Ambassador Club of Norstates Bank; she was also a volunteer at St. Therese Hospital for many years; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting, and crocheting; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar was preceded in death by her parents; her sons-in-law, Alan Grissom and Alfred Juras; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Trygar; her in-laws, Jay Owens, Matt and Marge Trygar, Harry and Josephine Allen, John Tucka Sr., Lottie and Frank Krainc, and Dr. James Warner; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Trygar is survived by her husband of over 68 years, Henry; her children, Barbara Grissom, Michael, and Cynthia Juras; her grandchildren, Stephanie Gagne, Jennifer Grissom, and Jeremy Grissom; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Nancy Owens; her in-laws, Genevieve Tucka, Stan and Martha Trygar, Jeanette Warner, Chester and Sylvia Trygar, and Dorothy and Bill Pish; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Lillian E. Trygar, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lillian Trygar as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
