| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Leland R. Senne of Elk Grove Village, who | | 4 | | passed away on August 1, 2016; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Leland Senne was born in Mt. Prospect to Heinrich | | 6 | | Johann Wilhelm and Margaret Anna (Kanning) Senne on July 14, | | 7 | | 1929; and
| | 8 | | WHEREAS, Leland Senne served in the United States Air Force | | 9 | | in the medical division during the Korean War; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, Leland Senne was a truck driver for CLCC for over | | 11 | | 20 years; and
| | 12 | | WHEREAS, Leland Senne was preceded in death by his parents; | | 13 | | and
| | 14 | | WHEREAS, Leland Senne is survived by his wife of 60 years, | | 15 | | Melodee (Tessler); his daughters, Cheryl (Ted) Slowik, Caren | | 16 | | (Henry) Krolikiewicz, and Lynette (Rick) Tierney; his | | 17 | | grandchildren, Teddy (Sara), Michael (Becca), Dana (Bobby), | | 18 | | Robert, Eric, Danny, Marc, Ricki, and Jack; and his best | | 19 | | friend, Lulu; therefore, be it
