SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lawanda B. Fourez, who passed away on August 6, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Lawanda Fourez was born on October 15, 1929 in Buckner; her parents were George Lucien and Goldie Mae Evilsizer; she married Frank "Bunny" Fourez, Jr. on June 29, 1946; and

WHEREAS, Lawanda Fourez was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank; her son, Larry Alan Fourez; her parents; her sisters, Doris Bowlin, Loretta Cain, Nadine and Darlene Evilsizer, Gladys Terry, and Sharon Forgotch; her sister-in-law, Charlotte Evilsizer; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Cain, Ron Terry, Sam Patterson, and Julius Kaminski; and

WHEREAS, Lawanda Fourez is survived by her children, Larry (Susie) Fourez, Rick (Yvonne) Fourez, Randy (Debbie) Fourez, Bunny Fourez, Tami (Roger) Price, Rodney (Francie) Fourez, and Darrin Fourez; her grandchildren, Jolie (Marty) Ramsey, Larry (Gayla) Fourez, Jr., Jackie Miller, Johnny (Jamie) Fourez, Eric (Stephanie) Fourez, Amy (Mike) Johnson, Cameron (Brianna) Fourez, Jamie (Troy) Randall, Christopher (Rachel) Price, Abbie Price, Meghan (Chad) Dirler, Rodney (Katie) Fourez, Jared (Alyssa) Fourez, Dylan Fourez, and Zeke Fourez; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, George Evilsizer, Judy Patterson, Bob (Lorain) Evilsizer, and Brenda (Tom) Monti; her brother-in-law, Wendell Bowlin; and her sister-in-law, Mary Kaminski; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Lawanda B. Fourez; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lawanda Fourez as an expression of our sympathy.
