SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Alfonse "Al" Zuccarini of Brimfield, who passed away on March 2, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was born on August 11, 1957 in Freeport, New York; his parents were John Louis and Marie Deloris (nee Gannatti) Zuccarini; he married Kathy Gisslen on May 7, 2004 in Peoria; and

WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was the owner of World Famous Big Al's in downtown Peoria since 1997; as a businessman, he was instrumental in the establishment of many businesses in the Peoria area; and

WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini was preceded in death by his father and a brother-in-law, Robert Schoepfer; and

WHEREAS, Alfonse Zuccarini is survived by his wife, Kathy; his mother, Marie; a daughter, Nicole Zuccarini; 2 sisters, Margherite Schoepfer and Joanne (George) Swarbrick; a niece, Corinne (Stephen) Henry; and a great-nephew, Stephen Henry, Jr.; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Alfonse "Al" Zuccarini; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alfonse Zuccarini as an expression of our sympathy.
