| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ann M. Rintoul of Godfrey, who passed | 4 | | away on July 2, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ann Rintoul was born on August 10, 1934 in Alton; | 6 | | her parents were William and Grace Linkogle; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Ann Rintoul attended East Alton schools and | 8 | | graduated from East Alton-Wood River Community High School in | 9 | | 1952; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Ann Rintoul started her working years at Illinois | 11 | | State Bank of East Alton, where she was locked in the bank | 12 | | vault and was subsequently a part of a New York City game show | 13 | | about the episode; she also worked with her sister Jane at | 14 | | Associates Finance; she was also employed with the East Alton | 15 | | Recreation Department and Ray Gremli Chevrolet before retiring | 16 | | from the Louisiana Dock Barge Company as the Executive | 17 | | Secretary to the General Manager; and | 18 | | WHEREAS, Ann Rintoul was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals | 19 | | and seldom missed a game; she also loved dining at the Cracker | 20 | | Barrel and spending time with her family and friends; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Ann Rintoul was preceded in death by her parents; | 2 | | her husband, Paul Rintoul; her sister, Doris (Moore) Norris; | 3 | | and her brother-in-law, Thomas Majovsky; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Ann Rintoul is survived by her sister, Jane | 5 | | Majovsky; her son, John Hill; her granddaughters, Amanda | 6 | | (Jared) Johnson and Brooke Hill; her great-granddaughter, | 7 | | Brianna Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family | 8 | | members; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | 11 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Ann M. Rintoul; and be | 12 | | it further
| 13 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 14 | | presented to the family of Ann Rintoul as an expression of our | 15 | | sympathy.
