SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jeannette Small of Springfield, who passed away on June 27, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Jeannette Small was born on March 25, 1936 in Roxboro, North Carolina; her parents were Reuben Ray Jones and Bertha Joseph Hamlett; and

WHEREAS, Jeannette Small retired as an executive assistant for the National Council on Compensation Insurance after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Jeannette Small was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill Jones; and

WHEREAS, Jeannette Small is survived by her children, Lori Dobrino Small, Carla Dobrino Smith (fiance, Jim Freytag), Robert (Diane) Dobrino, and Donette (Michael) Dobrino Clark; her grandchildren, Jeremy Ross, Sean Dickerson, Brandon Smith, Daniel Dobrino, Osiana Small, Marquez Small, Jenna Clark, and Mitchell Clark; her great-grandchild, Makenna Smith; and her sister, Wilhelmina Rountree; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Jeannette Small; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jeannette Small as an expression of our sympathy.
