SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Delmar "Loren" Gross III of Springfield, who passed away on June 26, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III was born in Decatur to Delmar Loren II and Gail Lockwood Gross on July 23, 1973; he served in the United States Navy and married Jacqueline Willhite on November 13, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III was a supervisor at Landmark Environmental for five years and previously was an electrician; and

WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III was a member of the National Rifle Association; and

WHEREAS, Delmar Gross III is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his son, Devin Tom; his father, Loren (Donna) Gross; his mother, Gail (Edward) Anderson; his brothers and sisters, Matthew (Vicki) Schaal, Luke (Michelle) Schaal, Christi (Patrick) Grant, Shawne (Dwan) Gross, Cody (Melissa) Patterson, Joshua Gross, and Carrie (Vincent) Pop; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Delmar "Loren" Gross III, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Delmar Gross III as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
