SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jesus Talavera, Jr. of Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Jesus Talavera, Jr. was involved in many city and community outreach initiatives throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, Jesus Talavera, Jr. was the beloved father of Richard, Ronald (Debbie), Rene', Valerie, and Rebecca (Kris) Talavera; the loving grandfather of Tabitha, Neil, Melissa, Kristopher, Alekzander, Lauren, Colin, and Arieana; the great-grandfather of Tatiana, Nathaniel, Starr, and Selena; and the dear brother of John (Irma) and Rose (Tony) Mauricio; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jesus Talavera, Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jesus Talavera, Jr. as an expression of our sympathy.
