SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Bob Moore of Alton, who passed away on
4February 26, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Moore was born in Denmark, Tennessee on June
620, 1922 to Emmanuel and Ora Lee (nee McKinney) Moore; he
7married Tessie Woodard in August of 1955; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Bob Moore was employed at Laclede Steel for 30
9years, retiring in 1982; he owned and operated a sanitation
10business and a barber shop in the back of his home; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Bob Moore enjoyed playing the lottery daily,
12socializing daily at the coffee shop, farming, gardening,
13hunting, and playing his harmonica and guitar; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Bob Moore was preceded in death by his parents;
15his sister, Bessie Moore; and his brother, John Henry Moore;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Bob Moore is survived by his 10 children, Charles
18(Annie) Currie, John Henry (Barbara) Forest, Bertha Murphy,
19Bobbie Alexander, Dennis (Foley) Moore, Glenn Moore, Rhonda
20Moore, Tina (Frank) Holliday, Pamela Cunningham, and Patricia

1(Anthony) Douglass, Sr.; his 24 grandchildren; his 50
2great-grandchildren; his 9 great-great-grandchildren; his
3special friends, Frank Holiday, Kevin Koontz, and Bill Haines;
4and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore,
5be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Bob Moore, and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
9friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Bob Moore as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
