SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Kenneth A. Kinder of Bethalto, who passed
4away on June 20, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was born in Golden Eagle to Albert
6and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Baalman) Kinder on April 2, 1927; he
7married Audrey Miller in Kampsville on August 14, 1951; he
8served his country in the Merchant Marine and the United States
9Army; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was a laborer for Local 218 of
11Alton for 42 years, where he also served as Secretary
12Treasurer; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was a member of Our Lady Queen of
14Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was preceded in death by his wife,
16Audrey; his parents; and his brother, Harold (Buss) Kinder; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder is survived by his son and
18daughter-in-law, Garry and Gaylene (Gillson) Kinder; his
19grandchildren and their spouses, Kyle and Kathryn Kinder, Erica
20and Kris Petree, and Lindsay and Chris Loftus; his

1great-grandchildren, Jackson, Gracyn, Boyd, Blythe,
2Christopher, and Tanin; his siblings, Geraldine "Geri" Miller
3and Norma Kendall; his half-sister, Helen Kinder Land; and
4several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Kenneth A. Kinder, and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Kenneth Kinder as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
