| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Bruce Arnold Moore Jr. of Alton, who | 4 | | passed away on May 31, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bruce Moore Jr. was born in Chicago to Bruce | 6 | | Arnold Sr. and Grace Elizabeth Moore on May 6, 1939; he married | 7 | | Carole Jacobson in Alton on June 15, 1963; he earned a Bachelor | 8 | | of Science in Social Work from Ohio State University in 1964 | 9 | | and a master's degree in social work from Wayne State | 10 | | University in 1967; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Bruce Moore Jr. worked for 20 years in the | 12 | | Department of Mental Health for the State of Illinois; he | 13 | | retired from Florida Hospital in Orlando in 2009 after 15 years | 14 | | as a social worker and discharge planner; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Bruce Moore Jr. enjoyed reading, gardening, | 16 | | camping, and taking walks in the woods; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Bruce Moore Jr. was preceded in death by his | 18 | | parents; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Bruce Moore Jr. is survived by his wife, Carole; | 20 | | his children, Steven Moore, Kimberly Moore, and Kristin Moore; |

| 1 | | his grandchildren, Alyssa, Kristena, and Lilly Moore; his | 2 | | brother, John Rose; and his sister, Jane Mueller; therefore, be | 3 | | it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | Bruce Arnold Moore Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to | 7 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 8 | | further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Bruce Moore Jr. as an expression of | 11 | | our deepest sympathy.
