SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Corwin S. Freeman, Jr. of Elgin and Peachtree City, Georgia, who passed away on May 14, 2016 at the age of 68; and

WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. was born in Elmhurst and raised in Naperville; and

WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. excelled in the financial planning industry as President of Valley Estate Planners, Ltd.; and

WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. was an enthusiastic Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 1981, with Top of the Table production of this elite group of financial planners; and

WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. enjoyed traveling with his family, Jimmy Buffett, Notre Dame sports, and playing Bridge and other card games; and

WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lea Freeman; his daughters, Carrie, Katie, and Courtney; his brothers, John, Terry, and Chris; and his sister, Mary Katherine; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Corwin S. Freeman, Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Corwin Freeman, Jr. as an expression of our sympathy.
