SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jerry "Red" Hacker of Franksville, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 1, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Hacker was born August 23, 1938 in Waukegan and was a longtime resident; his parents were Elmer and Emily Hacker; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Hacker retired from Teamsters Local 301 after 35 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Hacker was an avid auto racing fan; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Hacker is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hacker, and his parents; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Hacker is survived by his wife, Peggy Hacker; his sons, Bill (Nancy) Hacker and John (Pam Hammond) Hacker; his grandchildren, Andy, Jamie, Nicholas, and Christy; his great-granddaughter, Lillie; his brother, Elmer (Liz) Hacker; his sisters, Judy Grubbs and Paula Mercer; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jerry "Red" Hacker; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jerry Hacker as an expression of our sympathy.
