SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas W. Glogovsky of Waukegan, who passed away on February 3, 2016 at the age of 79; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Glogovsky served in the United States Marines as an aircraft mechanic; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Glogovsky's career included 30 years at Coral Chemical of Waukegan, where he was a Chemical Salesman; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Glogovsky was a devoted hard-working father and husband; he enjoyed camping and yard work and had a strong drive to succeed; he enjoyed being an extrovert; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Glogovsky was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda (Tubek) and Willie Glogovsky, and his daughter-in-law, Laura; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Glogovsky is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Wills Glogovsky; his sons, Patrick, Michael (Mary Kathleen), and Thomas (Nicole); his daughters, Lynn DeYoung and Wendy (Chris) Murray; his 20 grandchildren; his 11 great-grandchildren; his sister, Barb Marrocco; and his brother, Jimmy; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas W. Glogovsky, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas Glogovsky as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
