SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Linda W. Stittgen of Johnsburg, who passed away on March 14, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen was born on January 11, 1954 in Waukegan; her parents were Fred and Louise Wahl; she married Victor Hopp on January 11, 2001 in McHenry; and

WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen was a lifelong resident of the Johnsburg area and graduated in 1972; and

WHEREAS, Cooking was Linda Stittgen's passion in life; she was a chef in several local restaurants and cooked for Johnsburg School District 12; she was also a licensed realtor; and

WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen is preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Linda Stittgen is survived by her husband, Victor Hopp; her children, Christopher Stittgen, Brian Stittgen, Daniel Stittgen, and Seth (Justine) Stittgen; her nine grandchildren; her sister, Ann Troka; and her brothers, Fred (Kathryn) Wahl, Robert (Barbara) Wahl, and Kenneth Wahl; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Linda W. Stittgen; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Linda Stittgen as an expression of our sympathy.
