SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary M. Rogina of Joliet, who passed away on April 4, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Mary Rogina was born in Joliet on April 4, 1924 to Peter and Rose (Miniutti) Del Bianco; and

WHEREAS, Mary Rogina was baptized and married at the Chuch of St. Anthony in Joliet, where she remained a devoted parishioner; and

WHEREAS, Mary Rogina was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Anthony and Dominic Del Bianco; her sister, Lena (Chuck) Elliott; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Matkovic; and

WHEREAS, Mary Rogina is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Raymond F. Rogina; her loving children, Raymond P. (Diane), Michael A. (Sally), and Mark M. (Sandi) Rogina; her three cherished grandchildren, Matthew C. (Anna), Mark R., and Anthony L. Rogina; her dear sister, Perina "Babe" Matkovic; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mary M. Rogina, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Rogina as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
