SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James McGing of Edison Park, who passed away on March 23, 2016; and

WHEREAS, James McGing was born on January 3, 1929; he was a native of Churchfield, Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland; and

WHEREAS, James McGing was a retired 50+ year member of Plumbers Union Local 130; and

WHEREAS, James McGing was preceded in death by his twin brother, Austin; his brothers, Pat and Phil; his sisters, Nuala Lally and May Lally; his brothers-in-law, Morris Hillstead, Peter Lally, and Tom Lally; and his sister-in-law, Sarah McGing; and

WHEREAS, James McGing is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine (Heneghan); his daughters, Bridget and Mary (Patrick) O'Malley; his sons, James (Brenda) and Austin McGing; his grandchildren, Maureen, Maura, James, Patrick, Liam, and Hugh; his brother, John; his sisters, Ann Donnelly and Bea Hillstead; and his sister-in-law, Bridget McGing; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of James McGing, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James McGing as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
