SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ann Byrom Gavin; and

WHEREAS, Ann Gavin was a longtime USO volunteer and past President of Ted Knusman AMVETS Post #13 Auxiliary; and

WHEREAS, Ann Gavin was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; and

WHEREAS, Ann Gavin was the loving mother of Kathleen; the cherished grandmother of Darren and Vera; the fond aunt of many; and the dear sister-in-law of Francis X. Gavin, Theresa Gavin Vranek, and John A. Gavin; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ann Byrom Gavin, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ann Gavin as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
