SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of David G. "Whitey" Gregory, who passed away on March 15, 2016; and

WHEREAS, David Gregory was born on April 27, 1959; he graduated from Joliet West High School in 1977; and

WHEREAS, David Gregory was a Local 444 Ironworker until starting his own construction and commercial development business; and

WHEREAS, David Gregory played semi-pro hockey and loved to golf; and

WHEREAS, David Gregory was preceded in death by his mother, Constance (Karstens) Gregory; his brother, Douglas E. Gregory; and his mother-in-law, Josephine Kabat; and

WHEREAS, David Gregory is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Kabat); his children, Molly and David Parker Gregory; his father, Ronald J. Gregory Sr.; his sister, Joyce Gregory; his four brothers, Timothy (Kim), Patrick (Nancy), Donald "Doc" (Kim), and Ronald; his sister-in-law, Roberta Gregory; his brother-in-law, Greg Kabat; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of David G. "Whitey" Gregory, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of David Gregory as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
