SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Verda Frances Brunetto of Benld, who
4passed away on March 7, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was born in Gillespie to Baltzer
6Dan and Lillie Rhoads Eckman on February 15, 1915; she married
7Dominic Brunetto in Carlinville on January 7, 1939; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was a homemaker; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was a member of the Benld United
10Methodist Church, the Benld United Methodist Church Women's
11Society, and the Macoupin County Home and Education Association
12for 50 over years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was preceded in death by her
14husband, Dominic; her parents; her daughter, Marcia L.
15Brunetto; her brother, Buell Eckman; and her sisters, Mildred
16Scopel, Nellie Schwenke, and Leora Bada; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto is survived by her son, Michael
18(Karan) Brunetto; her daughter, Nancy E. (Loren) Baugh; her
19grandchildren, Erin Krempges, Evan W. Baugh, and Kelsy Haddock;
20her great-grandchild, Sullivan Krempges; and her sister, Mary

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Verda Frances Brunetto, and extend our sincere condolences to
5her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Verda Brunetto as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
