SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Verda Frances Brunetto of Benld, who passed away on March 7, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was born in Gillespie to Baltzer Dan and Lillie Rhoads Eckman on February 15, 1915; she married Dominic Brunetto in Carlinville on January 7, 1939; and

WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was a homemaker; and

WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was a member of the Benld United Methodist Church, the Benld United Methodist Church Women's Society, and the Macoupin County Home and Education Association for 50 over years; and

WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic; her parents; her daughter, Marcia L. Brunetto; her brother, Buell Eckman; and her sisters, Mildred Scopel, Nellie Schwenke, and Leora Bada; and

WHEREAS, Verda Brunetto is survived by her son, Michael (Karan) Brunetto; her daughter, Nancy E. (Loren) Baugh; her grandchildren, Erin Krempges, Evan W. Baugh, and Kelsy Haddock; her great-grandchild, Sullivan Krempges; and her sister, Mary Genean Stoddard; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Verda Frances Brunetto, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Verda Brunetto as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
