SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John T. "Jack" Donahoe of East Dundee, who passed away on March 9, 2016; and

WHEREAS, John Donahoe was born on November 15, 1945 in Chicago; his parents were Edward and Anne Donahoe; and

WHEREAS, John Donahoe was a proud veteran of the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, John Donahoe was a loving father and grandfather and an avid golfer; and

WHEREAS, John Donahoe was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Theresa Donahoe and June Booz; and

WHEREAS, John Donahoe is survived by his loving companion, Mary Carney; his children, Amy Wesol (Michael Jeffs) and Robyn (Ryan) Larson; his grandchildren, Makena, Quinn, Kailey, Jordyn, Kyle, and Nate; his brothers, Jim (Nancy) Donahoe and Joseph "Jay" (Regina) Donahoe; his sister, Lucille Donahoe; and his many loving nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of John T. "Jack" Donahoe; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Donahoe as an expression of our sympathy.
