SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carolyn Sue LaTempt, who passed away on March 3, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn LaTempt was born on December 8, 1941; her parents were Jerry and Ella Wooten; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn LaTempt was proud to serve her family and community as a Girl Scout leader for many years; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn LaTempt enjoyed rose gardening, crocheting and knitting, reading Barbara Cartland novels, and playing bingo; she was also an amazing cook who enjoyed spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn LaTempt was employed at Alton Multispecialists and Brakefield and Associates for many years; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn LaTempt was preceded in death by her husband, Danny E. LaTempt; her parents; her sister, Wanda Ringering; and her extended family members, Virgil LaTempt, Terry LaTempt, and Ginny LaTempt; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn LaTempt is survived by her daughters, Dana LaTempt (David Woelfel) and Julie LaTempt-Brazier (Paul Brazier); her son, Danny S. LaTempt; her grandsons, Joseph Babajan and Raleigh Brazier; her brother, Paul (Marge) Wooten; and her extended family, Virginia LaTempt, Virgil and Jane LaTempt, Rick LaTempt, Karen and Ron Hogue, Bob and Becky LaTempt, Debbie and Bob Davis, and Steve and Nancy LaTempt; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Carolyn Sue LaTempt; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carolyn LaTempt as an expression of our sympathy.
