| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Ross Joseph Teresi, Sr. of Crystal Lake, | | 4 | | who passed away on January 12, 2016; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Ross Teresi, Sr. was born in Chicago to Frank and | | 6 | | Rose (nee Fiore) Teresi on December 30, 1928; he graduated from | | 7 | | Foreman High School in Chicago and served in the United States | | 8 | | Army during the Korean War; he married Arlene Kazmarek in | | 9 | | Chicago on June 11, 1955; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, After his service, Ross Teresi, Sr. completed | | 11 | | barber college and became a barber; he was part owner of the | | 12 | | Cary Barber Shop from 1958 to 1992; he retired in 1992 and | | 13 | | spent the winters in Naples, Florida; and
| | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ross Teresi, Sr. was a member of St. Thomas the | | 15 | | Apostle Catholic Church; and
| | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ross Teresi, Sr. was preceded in death by his | | 17 | | parents and his sister, Genevieve Bock; and
| | 18 | | WHEREAS, Ross Teresi, Sr. is survived by his wife of 60 | | 19 | | years, Arlene Teresi; his sister, Mica Bingham; his brother, | | 20 | | Frank (Artis) Teresi; his 5 children, Ross (Helen) Teresi, |
