SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Karin Nuelle, who passed away on January 14, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle was born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on June 9, 1952; as a result of her military upbringing, she was a former resident of many places around the world, including the State of Virginia and the countries of Norway and Germany; she graduated from Indiana University in 1974 and lived in Woodstock for the past 25 years; and

WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle served for more than 2 decades as Executive Director for the Illinois Head Start Association's Community Action Agency for McHenry County; and

WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle was a past President of the Woodstock Rotary Club; she was active in the Woodstock community, in particular with the Christmas Clearing House program; and

WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Nuelle; and

WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle is survived by her mother, Gwynneth Roberts; her 3 sisters, Pamela Roberts, Janet Bush, and Deborah (Matthew) Stockert; her brother, Cliff (Amy) Roberts, Jr.; and her 3 stepchildren, Thomas (Carol) Nuelle, Jr., Therese (Tim) Graff, and Collette (Steve) Mustain; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Karin Nuelle, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Karin Nuelle as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
