SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dr. David S. Ness of Gurnee, who passed away on January 7, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Dr. David Ness was born on March 3, 1960 in Oak Park; and

WHEREAS, Dr. David Ness was a member of Immanuel Church, the Illinois State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and Boy Scouts of America Troop 507 in Kenosha, Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, Dr. David Ness is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy (nee Buttenbender); his children, Diana, Kevin, and Jamie; his parents, Mel and Sue Ness; his brothers, Dan (Susan) and Steve (Kim Kilmer) Ness; and his many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins; and

WHEREAS, Dr. David Ness was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marshall and Sunny Peterson; his in-laws, Bill and Jean Buttenbender; and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Ness; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Dr. David S. Ness; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dr. David Ness as an expression of our sympathy.
