SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marjorie C. Kuntz of Watseka, who passed away on November 12, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Kuntz was born in Delrey on April 28, 1939 to Rudell and Elinor Smiley Weakley; she married John M. Kuntz on December 22, 1957 at Onarga United Methodist Church; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Kuntz worked as a secretary at Iroquois Home Care Incorporated; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Kuntz was a member of Onarga United Methodist Church; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Kuntz was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; her brother, Tom Weakley; her sister, Lillian Powers; and her son, Timothy Paul Kuntz; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Kuntz is survived by her daughter, Mindy Sue (Mick) Hagan; her 2 sons, John David (Taina) Kuntz and Jeffrey Mark (Kara) Kuntz; her 8 grandchildren, Shannon Hill, Jeremy Kuntz, Greg Deno, Kyndl Deno, Jake Hagan, Lui Friesner, Anna Hagan, and Kourtney Kuntz; her 8 great-grandchildren, Timothy and Nathan Hill, Makenna and Jack Kuntz, Kammie and Klara Hagan, and John and Andrea Friesner; and her 2 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law, Jerry (Terri) Weakley, Bill (Diana) Weakley, and Linda Schneider; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marjorie C. Kuntz, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marjorie Kuntz as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
